my superior April,asked me to go some errands at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and Changi Vicom Inspection Centre.
so she woke ah lim up,our driver who has the longest experience in this company among all the drivers.

walked over to ah wei, our mechanic's side to meet up with ah lim who was then just lighting up his cigarette and talking cock.yeah,he was whining why did April woke him up despite he was sleeping so soundly...lol anyway,he's an old uncle already,at mid 50s.
though the way he talks is crude,he's a nice person and always make people around him laugh.

we had nothing to chat as i'm quite a quiet person too.

paid the road tax and we went over to the ferry terminal.
forgot what started out our conversation ,asked him how many children does he have.
and he sighed.because his elder son let him down,always slack at home and not working.it reminded of myself when i was 21.was told that his son never been to army as he never even completed PSLE.

i was thinking,how could that be as no man is allowed to be excused from the National Service (NS).ah lim then explained that the reason being was his son does not even know how to use the computer,hence the rejection by MINDEF.

ah lim said he has given up on him.i also don't know what to say,tried to console him by asking him to give his son some time to think what he wants in life.

after the ferry terminal,ah lim turned right at the junction instead of left as the latter leads a shorter route.
we were on our way along the coast road.


that's the world renowned changi airport.

(right) bought a packet of fried rice for ah lim as he never taken any lunch.damn it,never buy
anything at killenery restaurant at the terminal.why?because the fried rice cost $5.10.
too expensive.but i don't mind it since there isn't any eatery around which sells decent meal.

i wasn't sure why did ah lim make a big round back to company. LOL.anyway,i enjoyed chatting with him.an enjoyable ride. :D
